Tech 1010 Newsletter - Issue 25

If this past month is any indication of how this year might go, then we’re off to a bold start. Let’s take our comrades over at findhelp Solidarity Network, for example. These workers are choosing to be positive and fearless in the face of some classic union busting. They are drawing a line in the sand and saying “this is what it looks like to take care of each other.”

For them, taking care looks a lot like community: endless 1:1 conversations, cracking jokes, spending Sunday afternoons together. Taking care also looks like knowing their rights, keeping receipts, and mobilizing resources in the face of retaliation. Speaking of which:

>> Donate to the workers Solidarity Fund. Support a retaliated findhelp worker who is refusing to sign an NDA in exchange for severance. Leadership can’t put a price on their silence, so donate to offset the financial hardship retaliated workers are experiencing.

In the coming months, we can’t wait to see how these workers continue setting a clear example of what care looks like. As you move into the year, what lines are you going to draw in the sand? How are we going to take bold action together?

In solidarity,

Kaarthika, RV, and Toy
